Matchbox Escape Update 23rd March

I started experimenting with small tetrapak prints and plan on incorporating these onto the matchboxes. I then wrapped the matchboxes in paper and used images from magazines with natural images that link to my theme of escape. For me, escape is travel and nature, so I selected sea, boats, birds, and shells.

Collecting materials. The matchboxes are a small canvas to work on . I have a collection of various colours of tissue paper which might be suitable for my ideas and may help me to achieve any muted tones and textures I might use. I also have a collection of old road maps form around France and Britain which I may use in a similar style to Kit Davey.
